Widgets are Desktop Gadgets. They just used that name to confuse people after they put out DesktopX v3.

Difference between widgets and gadgets is gadgets don't need desktopx installed to work.

That's surprising !

Given Brad's thread in the OS Customisation group about Mac folks coming along with so-called 'new' innovations that imitate Stardock's I would've though it behooves Stardock to lead the way on this (i.e dedicated website)
